1. Prisoners do not need to be treated fairly by guards they have committed a crime, they can escape, and thus they lose their rights to equality.

I disagree with this statement. No matter what crime the prisoners committed, they are still human beings and deserve to be treated fairly. I mean they don't have to be treated nicely, but they don't deserve to get beaten up for no reason either. Also, in prison guards treat some prisoners better than other which is unfair, I think all the prisoners should have the same rights, they all should be equal.

I disagree with this statement. Even though we all know that prisoners got into prison because they've done something wrong but it doesn't matter that they should be treated as animals or anything like that.I think they all understand by the end of their sentence that what they've done was at least stupid and probably will never do that again. But sometimes, partially because of the guards anger and aggression, prisoners come out of the prison even more angered, wanting a revanche and harming or killing innocent people. I guess more mental work should be done with the prisoners rather than just beating them all up to prove them wrong. because they are still humans, just the ones that made some mistakes in their life.

No, I disagree. Using brute force and inhumane methods on prisoners will not benefit society in any way. Bringing physical or mental harm to a human already capable of crime will not make them enjoy being a part of society any more; in fact, they may even come to despise society as a whole. Thus, they may have just made a one time- mistake and regret it, and not be a bad person whatsoever, but the harsh treatment of prisoners may cause them to cause more crimes of greater magnitude. Also, if the guards treat prisoners horribly, and bring them a lot of physical and mental harm, they are no better than them and deserve to be in their position.

I fully disagree with this statement. The fact that somebody is in prison doesn't mean that they are not a human and lost any right to equality,or a right to be treated like a normal person. In fact most of statistics say that people who come from prison and warfare almost always have damaged psychics, unhealthy stand of mind and become sociopats.Nobody ever said that guards should be babysitters for prisoners, but they shouldn't be executioners in any way.Everybody had comitted something wrong in a life, what means we dont differ by our nature, but just by the degree we can control ourselves. Then why do guards shall become the real prisoners, the people who are there for reason as they are bullying, treating unfairly already harmed people, which mostly understood the reason why they are there. There is some good proverb for kids which fits in the situation nicely : "If your friend had done something, you will do it too?". Human should be human in any sitauation.

I disagree with this statement. What I believe is that they shouldn't be treated as every other person even though they have committed a crime. Because if other people going to treat them badly then they won't be any better than them. And I am not saying that they should be set free like nothing has happened, keep them in prism but don't hurt or torture them. An example for this is that in auswitze the Germans were committing mass murder and they would deserves to be treated like how they treated the Jews, but if the people going to treat the Germans that way then they won’t be any better than them and they would commit the same crim.

I disagree with this statement one of the reasons because all of the prisoners are humans and although they done something bad they should be treated like all other people in the world. One reason is it is already bad enough for them that they got in to the prison and they lost many privileges that people outside prison have. So taking their self-security away from them would be too much even for a person that committed a crime. Sometimes it happens so that innocent people are taken into prison for the crime they never did. So it would be unfair to them if the guard treated them unfairly. So if the guards are being violent towards the prisoner the prisoner might be violent to them right back and there would be a big conflict. I think what guard should instead of being unfair to they try to rehabilitate them and reteach them how to be a normal person so when the go out of the prison they wouldn’t be dangerous to the society.

I disagree with this statement. Everyone has a right to equality, despite if they have sinned or not. Prisoners are human beings just like us, well actually they are people just like us but people who have committed a crime. yes that is bad but they shouldn't lose their human rights. they should be treated fairly by guards - they have already lost their liberty and freedom by being in prison, they are away from their families, friends and free life. they have no job and no income and they have lost their self-respect. they will always be regarded as convicts because they have a record of being in jail, which can stay with you for life and prevent you getting employed. therefore, after losing pretty much everything, they at least deserve to keep their rights to equality in prison.
